Supporters of the BC-STV are invited to a meet and greet at Desert Gardens Mojave Room March 17 at 7 p.m. This will be a refresher presentation on the merits of the single-transferable vote system and a chance to discuss the BC-STV with like-minded people. B.C. will have a second opportunity to have their say on a new voting system at a referendum held in conjunction with the provincial election May 12. The first referendum saw 58 per cent of voters support the system, missing a threshold of 60 per cent. For more information, contact Les at 250-372-1679.
