Single-transferable vote supporters are holding a meet and greet next week to prepare for the May 12 referendum. Kamloops for BC-STV is holding its meeting Tuesday at Desert Gardens from 7 to 9 p.m. A referendum on adopting single transferable vote (STV) received 57 per cent in 2005, just shy of the 60 per cent threshold. Voters will be given a second chance to change the way provincial politicians are elected at the same time as the provincial vote in May.
